Sporting Clays
$29/50 targets $56/100 targets
Sporting clays, often dubbed “golf with a shotgun,” is a shooting sport that presents shooters with targets thrown at various angles and distances designed to mimic ducks, pheasants, other upland birds, and rabbits. Targets are thrown in combination of singles, and pairs, with six to 10 clays per station. The CVSC course offers 14 stations, with 100 targets, laid out over naturally rolling terrain, under tree canopy.
Five Stand
$15/round
Five stand consists of shooting targets in 25 ‘bird’ increments, by rotating through five shooting stands, laid out next to one another. Shooters rotate from one stand to the next, with five shots taken at each stand. Traps are scattered throughout the course, and a menu will indicate which trap will throw the clay(s) at each stand. Clays will be thrown as a single, report pair, and then true pair, and may be over-head, incomer, a battue (fast falling), and /or a rabbit.
Wobble Trap
$15/round
Wobble trap is a game with five shooting stations at different elevations. As with five stand, five shots are taken at each station, before rotating to the next station, for a total of 25 shots. The trap is located under the third, center, and tallest station, and while stationary, it oscillates on both the horizontal and vertical axes, so that each target exists the trap differently.
